Based on the final result declared today, a total of 15,118 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification and subsequent appointment formalities.
The category-wise breakdown of shortlisted candidates is as follows: 6,458 from the General (UR) category, 3,832 from OBC, 2,221 from SC, 1,132 from ST, and 1,475 from EWS. The Commission has released the result in three separate PDF lists based on post categories. Candidates are advised to download the relevant list and use the Ctrl+F shortcut to search for their name or roll number quickly.
Candidates whose names appear in List 3 (Withheld List) should note that their results have been withheld by the Commission pending further review. They are advised to keep checking the official SSC website for updates regarding their candidature.
Candidates who find their names in the provisional shortlist will be called for Document Verification (DV) by their respective allocated User Departments. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise, taking into account the marks scored in the Tier II examination along with the post preferences submitted by candidates during the Option-cum-Preference Form stage (which was open from 9th to 12th March 2026).
As per the official SSC notice, if a shortlisted candidate does not receive any correspondence from the concerned allocated User Department within a period of six months from the declaration of the final result, they must proactively contact the respective User Department directly.
The final answer keys for the Tier II examination, along with the detailed subject-wise marks of both selected and non-selected candidates, will be uploaded on the official SSC website shortly. Candidates are advised to keep checking ssc.gov.in regularly for further updates.
